F4C Phantom
The McDonnell-Douglas F4C was extensively used during the Viet Nam war. This multi-purpose aircraft could be configured as either a land-based or carrier-based plane, and the Navy, Air Force and Marines deployed it in large numbers during the Southeast Asian conflict. In it's land-based configuration, it could carry twice as much of a bomb load as the World War II B-17 heavy bomber.
