During conflict, or even peacetime, there is nothing quite like having one of the enemy's top-line combat aircraft dropped into your lap. That's what happened with this MiG15bis during the Korean War. On September 21, 1953, a defecting North Korean pilot flew this plane into South Korea and landed it at the Kimpo air force base. Later, the United States offered to return the plane, but the offer was refused.
