Every year at the
White River Gardens here in Indianapolis,
they have a special exhibit in the conservatory where they have butterflies from around the world.
This year, I made several picture-taking trips to the gardens and managed to get a few fairly decent pictures
of both the butterflies and the gardens. The colors and grace of the butterflies is always amazing to me,
especially when you consider how delicate they look and then learn about the distances that some of them
make during their migrations.
This whole gallery would have been much more informative had I gone to the trouble to get the identifications
of the butterflies I have here. Maybe next year.
